Mangiamo is a casual but tastefully decorated restaurant, serving gourmet Italian specialties. The entrees include a salad and bread. You may want to bring your own wine. As we waited for our dinners, we were entertained by the extensive collection of nostalgic celebrity photos covering the walls. The food and service was outstanding. Mangiamo is a family owned restaurant, located about a mile west of the Mathis bridge. Mangiamo! Lets eat!

I was so excited to try this new restaurant,and so were my friends, and we were pleasantly surprised to see so many nostalgic pictures of many well known actors and actresses.
We were greeted by the waitress who was professional and very courteous. We asked for ice because we had brought in a bottle of wine and we were brought one glass of ice to share and she never returned to ask us if we needed any additional ice. Also, we never received any bread with our dinner. I was pleased with my entree, but my husband ordered the seafood sampler, which seemed more of an appetizer than a dinner. When we arrived at home, he had to eat something because that left him far from satisfied. I was so surprised at the amount of food that was served for $23.95..2 shrimp, 2 scallops and 2 little neck clams and he chose the pasta instead of the potato which included approximately 20 macaroni. If this is your normal, you should have your waitress inform your patrons rather than someone like my husband being hungry and dissatisified.

This restaurant is Awesome!!!! It reminds me of the great Italian Restaurants in North Jersey from “back in the day”. I have eaten here several times and it has always been great. The service is friendly, the atmosphere romantic and casual. I have had the savoy , the murphy and the pastas and all were fabulous. Try the ceasar salad, its the best I have ever had…(no bottled dressing in this place) The owner Kelly is a sweet, friendly man who always makes time to come into the dining room to to say hello and thank you for coming. This truly is my favorite restaurant…..
