For great seafood, try the Crab’s Claw in Lavallette. If you are lucky enough to be dining there on a Wednesday for lunch, you will be entertained by a live piano player. Atmosphere is casual.

For $10.95, we enjoyed an afternoon dinner that included salad, bread, a delicious entree and coffee. For an extra charge, my husband enjoyed a cocktail from the bar. Our server, Dawn, was very pleasant and the food was good. We overheard comments from the people at the next table who were complimenting the chef. The dining room, bar, and restrooms were nicely decorated and very clean. A peek into the kitchen revealed cleanliness, as well. There was an unexpected surprise at the top of the stairs………a large, charming room, all ready for a special party.
